Mistake 1: Not soaking your hair with water.
If you are in a hurry, you might be tempted to cut corners. But dunking your head under the water is not enough to make your hair get wet and this may make the shampoo less effective. The shampoo may not lather and cleanse the hair and without enough water.
Mistake 2: The use of water that is too hot.
Nothing feels better (or more laxatives) as a long, steamy shower. But while it feels good, it could fade your ombre. Too hot water opens the hair cuticle so that keratin proteins, natural moisturizing factors and color molecules escape, so hair loses strength and the color fades. Even if you do not color your hair, hot water still damages. If the hair cuticle open, hair tends to frizz. If you can not take a cold shower (yes, all of us) make it lukrwarm.
Mistake 3: Still shampoo with sulfates.
Sulfates cause cancer and strip the skin of oil. Studies have perfectly safe, but as well so they are worth avoiding if you dye your hair. Sulfate-free shampoos are much gentler and keep the cuticle taut so color does not fade so quickly. Switch to a sulphate-free shampoo like ArganRain.
Mistake 4: Rushing through your routine.
This morning when you just do not have the time, you do not want to leave enough time to rinse your hair. Women tend to overuse shampoo, so you really need to pay much attention to rinse the scalp. If you do not wash your enough, this can irritate the scalp and slow growth by clogging hair follicles.
